WELCOME TO SOPHOMORE YEAR

The start of my second year in college has already been an eventful one.

I spent most of my summer working and saving up money so I could be financially stable to eat out and go out to places without worrying about money. Now, this may have meant that I couldn't hang out with my friends all the time but, I knew once I got to college, I would be able to do all that on my own time. I will not be working while I'm up here due to school and sorority schedules.

Being the person I am, I left my packing until the last minute and I highly suggest for everyone to pack in advance so you don't forget any important stuff like I did. Somehow I managed to get everything packed and in the car the night before we left and I slept all the way up to Tallahassee.

Being one of the earlier ones to move into my apartment, the complex wasn't crowded and I unloaded everything into the apartment and headed off to lunch with my family with time to spare before my sorority orientation.

Sorority rush was definitely not an easy process, but I can finally say I made it through the week and I am now a new member of the Alpha Omicron Pi chapter here at FSU.

Taking on this process is something everyone should be 100% confident about because of the time, money and energy commitment, but it will be all worth it in the end if you believe it to be so. I am very happy I stuck with it this year and can already tell I am going to meet a lot of amazing people and experience exciting things this upcoming year.

Freshmen year complete!

I can remember starting this blog right before I went off to college as a senior in high school. I couldn't wait to be on my own and experience the life as a young adult. I did write multiple blog posts and I am sad to say that I can't retrieve them. But its ok! I wanted to restart my blog as a college student who is proud to say they survived their freshmen year.

I couldn't have been happier going to a school like FSU. Growing up in a gator (Florida University family because of my cousins) I never knew I would even think about going to school in tallahassee. Going to this school I have experience so much. New friends, experiences and challenges that come along with moving away from home for the first time.

Football games were something new to me because I only ever have been to pro or high school games. I am very excited to tailgate more next season and possibly make it to more games.

The reason I am not going into detail about my college experience is I want to save certain topics for
certain blog posts. I have been working on a youtube channel and plan to coincide it with this blog.

I highly recommend that if you are looking for somewhere to go to college, you consider checking FSU out. You never know how much you'll love a school until you see it in person.

Thank you to everyone who has made this first year so memorable and I'm excited for what the next few years will bring me.
